Rishabh Pant extends greetings to fans on Holi
On December 30, 2022, Rishabh Pant suffered severe injuries after facing a terrible car accident while driving.
After going through a horrendous accident in December 2022, Rishabh Pant is now showing signs of recovery. Recently, Pant posted a picture in which he was seen walking with the help of crutches. After a few days, he shared another pic on a social media site that showed him playing chess.
On Tuesday, the Indian cricket team was seen playing Holi in a team bus, while, on the other side, the 25-year-old southpaw brought joy to the faces of his fans on Wednesday, extending Holi greetings to them through a social media post.
Taking to Twitter, Pant shared an old image of him celebrating the festival and wrote “बुरा ना मानो होली है !! Happy Holi to everyone. May the colours of Holi brighten your lives with happiness and all you wish for.”
In the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL), his franchise Delhi Capitals (DC) will miss his services and in his absence, David Warner will be seen leading the team. However, the fans will expect Pant to recover properly before the 2023 World Cup, which will be hosted by India in the month of October-November. But it seems highly unlikely.
Ahead of the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Ahmedabad, skipper Rohit Sharma said that his team is missing the pyrotechnics of Rishabh Pant on the turning surfaces at home. Following India’s huge defeat in the third Test in Indore, many fans of the young star player felt that his presence could’ve brought a change in the game’s result.
In red-ball cricket, Pant has managed to accumulate 2,271 runs with five tons and 11 half-centuries in 56 innings of 33 matches. Meanwhile, India will look to win the fourth Test in Ahmedabad to seal the remaining spot in the WTC final.
