Royal Challengers Bangalore have witnessed some record-breaking numbers from their star players, including former skipper Virat Kohli, over the years, but they are the only franchise in the competition's history to have played all seasons with only one Indian player breaching the 1000-run mark for the team in IPL.
Former Indian skipper and RCB batting star Virat Kohli is the outright leading run scorer in the competition's history along with being the only batter to breach the 7000-run mark in IPL. However, he hasn't received much support from his compatriots representing the Red and Gold of RCB as no other Indian batter has been able to cross 1000 runs for the franchise in India's premier domestic franchise league.
While legendary overseas players like AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle were prolific run-scorers for the Bangalore-based franchise during their association with the team, former Indian skipper and batting icon Rahul Dravid is the second leading Indian run scorer for RCB with 898 IPL runs.
