There is a reason the tournament is termed as the richest league in the world. But several reports have emerged that Saudi Arabia is braced to challenge this norm.
For the unversed, Saudi Arabia has long been associated with the IPL. And the country could be seen promoting itself during the tournament in different respects. While several reports suggested that the nation is producing a league richer than IPL, Saudi Arabia’s Prince, His Royal Heigness, Saud bin Mishaal Al Saud, also the chairman of the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF), has quashed the rumours.
