Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy 2022: Squads and Schedule announced

The All-India Women's Selection Committee picked the squads for the forthcoming Senior Women's T20 Challenger Trophy 2022. The competition will be played by four sides- India A, B, C, and D which is scheduled to commence on November 20, Sunday and will continue till November 26, Saturday.

The inaugural edition in 2009-10 consisted of three teams whereas the 2021-22 saw the addition of a new side India D added to the mix. Moreover, the latest edition in 2022 will continue to have the fourth team competing for the title. India A are the defending champions as they beat India D by three wickets in the 2021-22 edition.

The four-team tournament will be played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. The format of the Challenger Trophy is such that the four teams contesting will play each other once in a round-robin format with the top two from the group stage advancing to the final to play for the title on November 26.
