Shah Rukh Khan attends ILT20 opening ceremony

Bollywood superstar and co-owner of the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Shah Rukh Khan was joined the stage with various dignitaries of the Emirates Cricket Board and International League T20 at ILT20 opening ceremony hosted at the Dubai International Stadium on January 132023. 

Superstar Badshah and megastar Jason Derulo mesmerized the crowd with their dazzling performances ahead of the opening match between Dubai Capitals and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders. All-rounder Dwayne Bravo also engaged the crowd with his songs and Run D World.

The biggest cricket festival kicked off on January 13 at the Dubai International Stadium. The power hitter Andre Russell, the wily leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga, the dashing Dwayne Bravo, the seasoned Robin Uthappa, the fearsome striker Chris Lynn, and the experienced Moeen Ali are in readiness to mesmerize the cricket fans during the month-long competition.

A total of six franchises which include Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Vipers, Dubai Capitals, Gulf Giants, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriors will be battling it out, to lift the magnificent competition trophy, from 13 January to 12 February 2023 across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah. And all six franchises have now finalised their squads for one of the most exciting cricket leagues in the world.

Franchise teams, comprising more than 100 international and 24 UAE-based players, include Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (Knight Riders Group), Desert Vipers (Lancer Capital), Dubai Capitals (GMR), Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline), MI Emirates (Reliance Industries), and Sharjah Warriors (Capri Global).
