Pakistan are currently engaged in facing Ireland in a three-game T20I series. Both sides have faced each other in gruelling battles so far, with Ireland winning the first clash and Pakistan levelling the series after their performances in the second game.

With the series underway, a moment has been going viral involving star Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi. An Afghanistan supporter was captured misbehaving with Afridi when the star pacer was meeting with his fans.

In the clip that has been going viral all over social media, Afridi was seen arguing with the fan, with an exchange of words happening between them. Seeing the offensive language of the Afghan fan, Afridi alerted the security personnel, and the security acted promptly, removing the fan from the ground. 

Ireland-Pakistan to battle it out in series decider

Speaking of the ongoing series between Ireland and Pakistan, the three-game affair began with Ireland putting in an exceptional performance, pulling off a major upset against Pakistan, and gaining the lead in the series. Andy Balbirnie’s brilliant knock during the run chase helped the hosts register a historic win. 

As the second T20I came around, Babar Azam-led Pakistan came prepared. Bowling first, Pakistan conceded a total of 193 runs in the first innings against Ireland. Shaheen Shah Afridi was the highest wicket-taker for the side, with three wickets to his name. Abbas Afridi took two wickets, with Mohammad Amir and Naseem Shah striking once each. 

Aiming to chase down the target of 194 runs, Pakistan opener Mohammad Rizwan put in an exceptional performance. The star batter scored 75* runs in 46 deliveries, alongside Fakhar Zaman, who scored 78 runs in 40 deliveries. Pakistan chased the target down in 16.5 overs as they won the game by seven wickets. 

With the series level, both sides will now be taking on each other in the third and final T20I at Castle Avenue in Dublin on Tuesday, May 14. The clash will be the series decider, and the visitors will hope to put in another good showing.
