Former Pakistan wrist-spinner Danish Kaneria has been in the news after making some bold allegations against Shahid Afridi.

The 42-year-old recently said that his former teammate, Afridi, tried to forcefully change his religion from Hinduism to Islam. Now, Kaneria has dropped another bombshell by reposting a video on 'X' that backed up his allegations. After seeing his daughter participate in a religious ceremony of puja after watching on TV, Afridi lost his call. He smashed the TV in his anger and claimed the incident in the video as well.

Kaneria urged people to think if Afridi could react like that in front of his daughter, then how unfairly he would have treated him during their days in the national team.

"Shahid Afridi broke the TV because his daughter was performing pooja. Just imagine if he could do this to his innocent daughter, how would he have treated me," Kaneria wrote on his official X handle.

Kaneria posted this tweet in light of his allegations about Afridi, where he said that he was treated badly during his time in Pakistan.

For the unversed, Kaneria was only the second Hindu cricketer to play for Pakistan. During his international career that spanned a decade, Kaneria played 61 Tests and 18 ODIs. He picked up 261 wickets and 15 wickets, respectively, in the two formats. He was one of the better spinners of his era and picked up 15 five-wicket hauls during his time with Pakistan. His last international appearance came against England during a Test match at Trent Bridge in 2010. No other Pakistan spinner has more wickets in Test cricket than Kaneria. He also loved playing against India and picked up 43 wickets in 11 Tests against the Men in Blue.
