The Legends League Cricket Masters (LLC) 2023 has given fans many exciting moments so far; however, during the action-packed tournament, the Asia Lions skipper Shahid Afridi fulfilled a fan’s wish as he was recently seen giving his autograph on the Indian flag.

The video of the incident is going viral on social media as fans laud the Pakistan legend for his heartwarming gesture of signing the tricolour. By virtue of the gesture, Afridi has won millions of hearts on the internet. The 46-year-old continues to dominate the ongoing LLC 2023 as Asia Lions managed to reach the finals of the tournament after they defeated India Maharajas in the eliminator of the competition by 85 runs.

Asia Lions to take on World Giants in LLC Masters 2023 final

Asia Lions took on India Maharajas in the eliminator of the ongoing LLC tournament. Batting first, Shahid Afridi’s Asia Lions notched up 191 runs on the board after a fabulous batting display. Upul Tharanga gave the side just the start it needed as he completed his half century.

Mohammad Hafeez and Asghar Afghan also played decent knocks to propel Lions to the impressive total. Following the first innings, Lions followed it up with an equally gripping performance with the ball.

Sohail Tanvir, Abdur Razzak, and Mohammad Hafeez took two wickets each to worsen the situation for India Maharajas. Shahid Afridi, Isuru Udana, and Tillakaratne Dilshan took a wicket each as well.

In the end, Maharajas were bundled out for 106 as Lions made their way into the summit clash of the tournament. They will take on World Giants in the final of the tournament on Monday, March 20. Giants are coming off back-to-back wins in the tournament and will be soaring high with confidence. World Giants will look to defend their title in a repeat of the 2022 final.
