Delhi Capitals (DC) captain Rishabh Pant continued his marvellous form in the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) as he played a brilliant innings of 41 (24) against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in Match 26 on Friday, April 12 in Lucknow. Walking in to bat with his team on 63/2 after seven overs, Pant got involved in a crucial 77-run stand off just 46 balls with Jake Fraser-McGurk for the third wicket.

During his innings, the southpaw looked at his explosive best as he clobbered four fours and two sixes helping DC chase down 168 in 18.1 overs. One of Pant’s shots left everyone astounded as he effortlessly played a ‘reverse ramp’ to collect a boundary in the 12th over against Marcus Stoinis.

Running in to bowl the fourth ball of the over, Stoinis bowled a full delivery just outside off stump. However, much before the release of the ball, Pant had set himself up to play his trademark reverse ramp and effortlessly executed it with ease sending the ball towards third man for a boundary.

Even the commentators Deep Dasgupta and Sunil Gavaskar were left baffled with the sheer audacity of the wicketkeeper batter to play such strokes at ease at any stage of the game.
