India and Sri Lanka are set to collide in the third and final T20I on Tuesday, July 30, at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. The Men in Blue have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead to make the third match inconsequential.
Charith Asalanka won the toss which was delayed 70 minutes due to rain and opted to bowl first. He announced at the toss that the 21-year-old Chamindu Wickramasinghe will be making his international debut, replacing for Sri Lankan white-ball captain Dasun Shanaka. Meanwhile, India decided to rest Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, and Arshdeep Singh for the picayune clash.

In place of the four rested players, Shubman Gill, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, and Khaleel Ahmed will get a go. Shubman, who is India's vice-captain, missed the last game due to a neck spasm. Fans will be happy to see him returning to the side.
