In a never-before-seen moment in T20 cricket, in the clash between Manipur and Delhi at the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024, all 11 players who took the field for Delhi bowled in the first innings of the clash. The game began with Manipur and Delhi locking horns at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Friday, November 29.

The game saw Manipur come in to bat first, and the side was limited to a score of 120 runs in the first innings of the game. However, much to everyone’s surprise, all 11 Delhi players bowled at least an over in the clash, which has never happened before in T20 cricket history.

Harsha Tyagi and Digvesh were the highest wicket-takers, with two wickets each to their names. Ayush Singh, Ayush Badoni, and Priyansh Arya took one wicket each, as Delhi limited Manipur to a score of 120 runs.

Delhi register comfortable win through Yash Dhull’s heroics

The first innings of the clash between Manipur and Delhi saw Manipur dismissed on a score of 120 runs. After the side’s entire batting order failed to go big, Shah and Rex’s knocks in the lower order helped Manipur reach a respectable total in the first innings of the game.

Aiming to chase down a target of 121 runs, Delhi got off to a subpar start to the run chase. Priyansh Arya was sent packing for a score of four runs in two deliveries. Skipper Ayush Badoni was dismissed on a score of 13 runs with Himmat Singh departing for a duck.

It was the knock of opener Yash Dhull which helped Delhi register a brilliant win. Coming out to bat, Dhull put in a resilient knock, scoring 59* runs in 51 deliveries. Delhi eventually chased down the target and won the game by five wickets.
