Following the end of the two-match Test series, where South Africa registered a fabulous win by winning both games against the West Indies, both sides will now take each other on in a three-match ODI series that is scheduled to begin on Thursday, March 16, with the final match scheduled for March 21.

South Africa will come into the series brimming with confidence. The Proteas also named many uncapped players in their squad to face the West Indies, with Tony de Zorzi, Gerald Coetzee, Tristan Stubbs, and Ryan Rickleton being some of the few. The uncapped players could come through for South Africa and prove to be integral for them.

West Indies, on the other hand, will be led by Shai Hope, and the ODI series against South Africa is the first for the Men in Maroon since August 2022. Notably, this will not be a part of the World Cup Super League. Rovman Powell was named vice captain, and the squad also has big names like Jason Holder, Odean Smith, and many more.
