South Africa's star Quinton de Kock replies on which Indian bowler hates the sight of him

South Africa's star wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock gave a very modest answer when he was asked about which Indian bowler hates him the most. The left-handed batter gave several other answers including who is faster (runner) between him and David Miller, and who is the hardest bowler to wicket-keep to. 

De Kock, who is currently playing in the ongoing 2022 Caribbean Premier League (CPL)  was responding in a rapid-fire round when he was asked by the interviewer 'Seven of your (De Kock) centuries have come against India, which bowler do you think hates the sight of you'?

"I don't think any of them. In international cricket, I seem to score runs against India, but they all get me out in the IPL," replied De Kock in an interview to ESPNcricinfo. Talking about De Kock's centuries in the international arena, the left-handed batter has scored 23 of them. Of those, seven centuries have come against India. 

When asked about who is the fastest runner between him and Miller, De Kock was quick to name Miller. The wicketkeeper-batter named express pacer Anrich Nortje and Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah the toughest bowlers to keep to. 

The 29-year-old rated his 140-run knock against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2022 as his best T20 knock. Representing the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2022, the left-hander smoked 140* runs in just 70 deliveries hitting ten fours and the same number of maximums.

De Kock along with skipper KL Rahul went on to stitch the highest opening stand in IPL (210) in the same match and their side won the contest by the barest of margins. 

Representing Barbados Royals in the CPL right now, the left-handed batter is looking to continue his good form with the bat and help his side clinch the title. A lot will ride on his form with the bat if South Africa are to do well in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.
