SRH vs LSG: Amit Mishra's animated reaction after dismissing Anmolpreet Singh goes viral

Amit Mishra is having a great season in the ongoing IPL 2023 as he has picked up seven wickets in seven matches at an average of 21.28 and an economy of 7.84. The 40-year-old bowled a spell of 1/40 in four overs during Lucknow Super Giant’s ongoing clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad (Match 58). After opting to bat first, the Aiden Markram-led side got off to a great start as they were 73/2 after eight overs.
Mishra came in to bowl the ninth over of the innings and got hit for six on the third ball by Markram. The wrist-spinner made a terrific comeback as he dismissed Anmolpreet Singh (36 off 27) on the fifth ball of the over getting him out caught and bowled. The right-handed batter came down the track and played the ball straight to Mishra who took a good catch on his right to get his first wicket of the match.
The 40-year-old veteran was pumped up after taking the catch and threw the ball in anger while giving a death stare to the batter.

Coming back to the match, after Anmolpreet Singh got his team off to a great start, SRH lost their way in the middle overs as Krunal Pandya picked up back-to-back wickets in the 13th over. Pandya first dismissed captain Markram (28 off 20) getting him out stumped as he got beaten by a delivery which turned sharply.
SRH put up 182/6 in the first innings
The left-arm spinner further destroyed the stumps of Glenn Phillips on the second ball as he was also beaten up with a sharp turner. Following their dismissals, Heinrich Klaasen (47 off 29) and Abdul Samad (37* off 25) bailed their team out of trouble with their 58-run stand off 40 balls. Courtesy of their partnership, SRH finished their innings on 182/6 after 20 overs.
Krunal Pandya (2/24) was the pick of the bowlers for his team while Yudhvir Singh (1/24, 3 overs), Avesh Khan (1/30, 2 overs), Yash Thakur (1/28) and Amit Mishra (1/40) picked up one wicket each.
