Sri Lanka troll Bangladesh by receiving trophy in practice kits following Test series
Sri Lanka defeated Bangladesh in the second Test by 192 runs.
Sri Lanka wrapped up their two-game Test series against Bangladesh by defeating the hosts in both matches, completing a clean sweep. For the second Test, both sides took centre stage at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on March 30.
In the clash, Sri Lanka managed to register a dominant win, winning their second Test match of the series and clinching the series as well. However, it was something that went down after the match that caught the headlines.
As the Sri Lanka side came down to the post-match presentation ceremony to receive the trophy for the series, the side came down to receive the trophy in their practice kits. Trolling the hosts, they played to the idea that they had just played two practice matches against Bangladesh.

Exceptional all-round display helps Sri Lanka win second Test
Speaking of the second Test, the clash began with Sri Lanka coming in to bat first after winning the toss. The decision seemed to be a wise one as the visitors opened their innings with Nishan Madushka and Dimuth Karunaratne scoring 57 and 86 runs, respectively.
Furthermore, after exceptional knocks by Kusal Mendis and Kamindu Mendis, Sri Lanka managed to post a total of 531 runs in the first innings. The side followed it up with a brilliant bowling performance. The visitors limited Bangladesh to a total of 178 runs in their first innings, with Asitha Fernando being the highest wicket-taker, taking four wickets in his brilliant spell.

Coming out to bat with a mammoth lead, Sri Lanka declared after scoring 157 runs, giving Bangladesh a target of 511 runs to chase down and level the series. However, the hosts once again fell prey to the brilliance of Sri Lanka’s bowling prowess.
Bangladesh did improve with the bat in the second innings, however, it just was not enough. Mominul Haque scored 50 runs in 56 deliveries, with Mehidy Hasan Miraz staying unbeaten with a score of 81 runs. However, the hosts were bundled out for a score of 318 runs, ultimately losing the game by 192 as Sri Lanka won the series in comfortable fashion.
