Virat Kohli was clearly frustrated over Rishabh Pant’s dismissal in India’s recent T20 World Cup 2024 clash against Bangladesh at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, Antigua, on Saturday, June 22. Batting first, India got off to a slow start; however, things seemed to be coming back on track with Pant's knock.

The ace wicketkeeper batter scored 36 runs in 24 deliveries and looked set on the crease after the dismissals of Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav in quick time. However, Pant was dismissed as he gave away an easy catch at short third man in an attempt to reverse sweep Bangladesh legspinner Rishad HossainKohli let out a frustrated reaction in the dug out and it went viral all over social media in no time. Later, the 35-year-old was seen having a long chat with Pant during the innings break.

It is worth noting that Pant was dismissed in a similar manner.in India’s previous game against Afghanistan in Bridgetown. Having scored 20 runs in 11 deliveries, the southpaw was sent packing by Rashid Khan through a LBW after he attempted to reverse sweep but failed. Pant challenged the decision but the review could not save him.
