The value of streaming rights for Pakistan's home cricket series is skyrocketing. The upcoming five-match T20I series against New Zealand witnessed a massive 94% increase compared to the previous series between the two teams in 2023. This surge in value reflects the growing demand for digital streaming platforms and the popularity of Pakistan's home cricket matches.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has awarded the exclusive live-streaming rights for the New Zealand T20I series and the women's series against West Indies to Tamasha and Trans Group FZE. In a competitive bidding process, the group outbid other contenders, including ARY Group, Tower Sports, and Tapmad, securing the rights specifically for streaming within Pakistan.
The PCB's Chief Operating Officer, Salman Naseer, expressed satisfaction with the increased value of international home series rights, "The increase in the value of international home series rights for the Pakistan region highlights the solid market interest which stems from hosting various international teams," Naseer told Cricket Pakistan.

I want to thank the consortium of Tamasha and Trans Group FZE for their commitment and support towards Pakistan cricket," he further added.
Talking about the interest building in the country, “I am delighted for the fans who must be happy with the availability of various streaming platforms for the 13 white-ball international matches involving both the men’s and women’s teams in the next month. Hopefully, this will multiply the interest levels towards the game of cricket in the country,” he concluded.
PAK vs NZ T20I series to begin on April 18th
Ahead of the series, the PCB has announced a roster of 29 players who will participate in a training camp at an Army base in Kakul from March 25 to April 8.
