Sachin Tendulkar is leading the Indian Legends team in the Road Safety World Series 2022 tournament.
The former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar has treated fans with pictures of legendary cricketers while traveling in a plane. The iconic cricketer has returned to the pitch this week as he is captaining the India Legends' side in the ongoing Road Safety World Series 2022 tournament. Sachin scored 16 runs off 15 balls in India's opening clash win against South Africa Legends on Saturday (September 10).
The 49-year-old star shared two pictures, one was a selfie taken by himself with Yuvraj Singh, and the other one was with cricketers participating in the Road Safety World Series. He put an interesting caption with the picture where he asked fans to guess how many runs and wickets were in those pictures. "Can you tell me the number of international runs and wickets in these pictures?" Sachin asked fans in his latest Tweet.
India Legends face New Zealand in the next Road Safety World Series clash in Indore:
With Indian and Australian legends in the same picture, it will take days for the fans to guess the answer. Apart from Sachin and Yuvraj, fans were quick to locate Australian stars Brett Lee and Shane Watson also in the picture. Stuart Binny, who smashed unbeaten 82 runs off 42 balls against South Africa Legends, is also spotted in the picture. It looks like players are travelling from Kanpur to Indore, where next five games of the tournament are scheduled at Holkar Cricket Stadium.
After their latest clash against West Indies Legends got abandoned, India Legends next face New Zealand at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Monday (September 19). New Zealand Legends, under the captaincy of Ross Taylor, lost their opening clash against South Africa by nine wickets. India are current champions of the tournament after beating Sri Lanka Legends in the finals last year. Sachin was India's leading run-scorer with 233 runs in seven matches at a strike rate of 138.69.
