'The energy is fantastic' - Arshdeep Singh opens up on Punjab Kings' dressing room atmosphere in IPL 2025

Arshdeep had a good outing in the first match, registering figures of 2/36 in four overs.

Punjab Kings pacer Arshdeep Singh recently spoke about his life since the IPL 2024. The star player claimed his life hadn't changed much and felt change was the only constant. He said staying humble and grounded during the highs and lows of life was key for players who compete at the highest level.

The left-arm pacer claimed his focus was to strengthen his mental health and enjoy the present. Arshdeep was excited for the IPL 2025 and felt the dressing room energy of PBKS was fantastic. The star pacer said PBKS will get a reason to celebrate and added they will play an enjoyable brand of cricket. He thanked everyone who supported PBKS for over 17 years.

"Life hasn't changed much; it's still the same, but it's fun. As they say, change is the only constant. Staying stable and managing the highs and lows is crucial when playing at this level. I focus on strengthening my mental resilience and enjoying the present moment. I'm very excited about this season. The energy is fantastic, and the atmosphere in the dressing room is incredible," said Arshdeep.

'I enjoy stepping up when the team is under pressure' - Arshdeep Singh

The PBKS bowler shared that the goal of the team was to win the title and celebrate in Chandigarh with an open-bus parade. The left-armer said he loves to step up under pressure and feels good to know he is trusted under pressure. The 26-year-old felt his focus was to give his best and not to worry about the results.

"I enjoy stepping up when the team is under pressure—whether it’s stopping runs or taking wickets. When they hand me the ball in crucial moments, it feels good to know that they trust me. I genuinely enjoy the added responsibility, regardless of the situation. I try not to feel the pressure and instead focus on delivering my best for the team," Arshdeep added.

The Indian pacer concluded by saying success doesn't come overnight and felt the need to work hard amidst setbacks.

"Success doesn’t come overnight, but I ensure that any setbacks don’t affect my bowling. Every time I get another opportunity, I give my all to help the team win," Singh concluded.
