Lucknow Super Giants looked clueless on Wednesday, as Sunrisers Hyderabad openers Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma unleashed mayhem. Despite getting thrashed in the powerplay, KL Rahul stuck to his leg-spinners and the move did not bore fruit. As a result, SRH emerged victorious without losing any wickets. Post-match, LSG owner, Sanjiv Goenka was seen in an animated chat with Rahul which drew a lot of flak from the netizens.
Former Australia pacer, Brett Lee has opined on the topic and has expressed his disappointment over the conduct. In a video that is going viral on social media, Rahul could be seen maintaining his composure as livid Goenka confronted him. Lee asserted that a discussion such as this should be held behind closed doors rather than in front of a global audience.
"There is a place behind closed doors that might have been a better option rather than the whole world watching. If it were done behind closed doors, you wouldn't have been asking me this question now. But also, on the other side, it shows the passion that the owners and coaches have… they want their team to do well and be the best, so maybe, pick your time," Lee said during an event in Delhi as quoted by Hindustan Times.
SRH handed LSG the heartbreak of the season
Talking about the game, LSG huffed and puffed their way to 166 after opting to bat first in Hyderabad on May 8. Their innings raised speculations about the pitch being slow-natured. But SRH openers proved the speculations wrong and amassed 107 runs in the powerplay itself. It is worth noting that LSG had mustered just 27 runs in the powerplay during their innings.

With the target, a stone's throw away, Head and Abhishek were in no mood to stop. They continued their onslaught and reached the designated score in just 9.4 overs. The loss not only hardened LSG’s path to the playoffs, but also dented their Net Run Rate severely.
