I am not talking about this great man (Mike Hesson) here,” said the former all-rounder on JioCinema.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru have continued their disappointing show in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2024 like previous seasons. Nothing seemed to have worked for the Bengaluru-based side, as they lost eight consecutive games. They are virtually out of the play-offs of IPL 2024. Amidst all this, the RCB management has come under intense scrutiny. Fans and pundits have come hard at the think tanks.
RCB’s bowling has been their weak link since the inception of the league. The management has time and again failed to address the issue. As a result, the team has failed to deliver in crunch situations. Shane Watson, who was once part of the franchise, has made a bold statement regarding the conduct within the team. He has quashed any chances of cricketing minds running one of the most loved teams of the IPL.
“There's definitely someone at RCB who doesn't know much about cricket. That's why he let Yuzi Chahal go. I am not talking about this great man (Mike Hesson) here,” said the former all-rounder on JioCinema.
I would go and beg Yuzvendra Chahal to come back: Robin Uthappa
Previously, Robin Uthappa had expressed his dissatisfaction with how the Bengaluru team was run. He addressed the subpar bowling arsenal issues that have plagued RCB for eons. He also highlighted the blunder management committed by letting go of Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel. For the unversed, Chahal is the highest wicket-taker in the history of IPL.
“First, I would go and beg Yuzvendra Chahal to come back. I would do anything; go through hell and high water to bring Yuzi back from RR, make amends. I would maybe even go and bring Harshal Patel back and prepare wickets that are conducive for bowlers there to succeed. Look at the calibre of batters they have – Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, Maxwell, Dinesh Karthik – but bowlers? They've had such great batters. AB de Villiers played for them; Chris Gayle played for them. Travis Head played for them. Shane Watson,” the former cricketer said earlier on The Ranveer Show podcast.
