The Champions Trophy is set to start next week and there is still a lot of debate surrounding the Indian squad for the upcoming ICC event. There will be some big stars who will be missing out on this tournament as well, especially from the Indian team.
The pace bowling attack for India is something that has got some people debating with the likes of Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj being left out. The mantle is with Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana. While Arshdeep has been a successful bowler for India in T20Is, he has barely played any ODI cricket which has got some experts curious as to how well he will perform. This has caught the attention of former England cricketer, umpire, and current commentator David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd who has shared his opinion on the left-arm seamer saying that the 50-over format will be a big challenge for him.
“If you are the opposition, test him out, really get into him. This is not T20, this not a little party, you've got to come back and come back again, and that is something he won't be used to. If you are the opposition, you try and play on that, let's see what he's got,” Lloyd told TalkSPORT.
