TNPL 2023: Schedule, Live Streaming, Broadcasters & All you need to know

The seventh edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2023 has fans buzzing with excitement. The TNPL 2023 auction was organised across two days February 23 and 24, and saw the eight teams rope in some respectable names. Sai Sudharsan, who is currently competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, was the most expensive player of the auction, as he was brought in by Lyca Kovai Kings for INR 21.60 lakhs.

The 2022 season of the TNPL saw itself end in an abrupt manner as both Lyca Kovai Kings and Chepauk Super Gillies were named champions after the final match was abandoned.

With the seventh season of the TNPL right around the corner, the tournament schedule has recently been announced. The tournament will begin on Monday, June 12, and the first match of the season will see Lyca Kovai Kings taking on Idream Tiruppur Tamizhans in Coimbatore.

A total of 32 games will be played in the tournament, with 28 league stage matches and four knockout games, including the final. After kicking off in Coimbatore, the TNPL is scheduled to proceed to Dindigul, Salem, and Tirunelveli.

Salem has been chosen as the venue for Qualifier I and the Eliminator, while Qualifier II and the final will take place in Tirunelveli. Additionally, the introduction of Decision Review System (DRS) has been announced for this year's TNPL.
