The mindset is to go step by step: Babar Azam
Babar is only the second cricketer from Pakistan to have won the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy, after Shaheen Afridi. Reflecting on the same, he stated that it is a good feeling to get rewarded for performances and added that he wants the trophy stays in Pakistan.
Having won the pMen's ODI Player of the Year award twice, Babar reckoned that he is focused to take things one step at a time.
"Hopefully, this year we have a lot of white ball cricket because the World Cup is coming. That is the aim, and when you have an aim, you need to take things step by step. The mindset is to go step-by-step. But there is hard work and planning behind it," Babar said.
