The third T20I clash between Pakistan and New Zealand at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium unfolded as the Kiwi side triumphant victory by seven wickets. Pakistan commenced their innings on a promising note, posting a commendable total of 178-4 in their allotted 20 overs.

Saim Ayub provided an early impetus with a spirited knock of 32 runs off 22 balls, setting the stage for a competitive total. Skipper Babar Azam exhibited his class with a composed innings of 37 runs off 29 balls, anchoring the middle order. However, it was Shadab Khan and Irfan Khan who scored 41 and 30 respectively to provide the finishing touches and help Pakistan post a decent total on the board.

In response, New Zealand displayed confidence and precision in their chase, reaching the target of 179 with authority in just 18.2 overs. Tim Robinson laid a solid foundation for New Zealand's innings with a brisk 28 runs off 19 balls, setting the tone for the chase. Tim Seifert and Dean Foxcroft further consolidated New Zealand's position with contributions of 21 runs off 16 balls and 31 runs off 29 balls respectively.

However, it was Mark Chapman's explosive innings that stole the show, as he bludgeoned the Pakistani bowling attack to all parts of the ground, amassing an unbeaten 87 runs off just 42 balls. Chapman's aggressive strokeplay and ability to find boundaries at crucial junctures turned the tide decisively in New Zealand's favour. Despite Abbas Afridi's disciplined bowling effort, claiming two wickets for 27 runs in his three overs, Pakistan struggled to contain New Zealand's onslaught.
