Two men arrested for allegedly stalking, harassing KKR captain Nitish Rana's wife in Delhi
Saachi had shared an Instagram story of the same a couple of days ago.
Two youths, who stalked Nitish Rana's wife's car in Delhi, were arrested by the police on Saturday, May 6. On Thursday, May 4, Saachi Marwah (Rana's wife) shared a video on her social media handle revealing that two young boys stalked her car, chased it and hit it when she was on her way to Model Town in Delhi.
"Just a casual day in Delhi, on my way back home from work! These guys randomly started hitting my car! Just no reason, stalked and chased and the police told me on the phone when I complained, ‘so now that you’ve reached home safe, let it go! Next time, number note kar lena’ (note the number next time), aye aye captain, next time, I’ll take their phone numbers also!" she wrote on her Instagram story.
After breaking out the news in the public and revealing that the Delhi Police refused to help her, immediate action was taken as the two accused- Chaitanya Shivam aged 18, a resident of Pandav Nagar and Vivek, also aged 18 and a resident of Patel Nagar were arrested.
The case was registered against the two boys, at the Kirti Nagar Police Station in Delhi, who tried to haul Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Nitish Rana's wife's car, stalked her and harrased her. Saachi was aware enough to record a video of the incident on her phone and share her horifying experience on Instagram, which led to the arrest of the youngsters.
Kolkata Knight Riders' skipper Nitish Rana is currently leading the team in the IPL 2023. He was appointed the captain of the franchise for the ongoing edition after regular skipper Shreyas Iyer was ruled out due to an injury. Kolkata have had a topsy-turvy ride at the IPL 2023 so far, but the two-time champions will be hoping to turn the tables around in the remaining games, and secure their place in the top four so as to make their place in the playoffs.
