Star Indian batter Prithvi Shaw made his Test debut in December 2020. During his stay with the Indian team before being dropped, the player has rubbed shoulders with the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. In one of the moments from the dressing room, the right-handed batter shared the incident where he got pranked by the former Captain of the national side.

Everyone is aware of Kohli’s famous story where he was pranked by Yuvraj Singh and Co. during his debut and was made to bow down to legendary Sachin Tendulkar. When Kohli became the senior member of the team, the dressing room tradition was carried out the same and the latest victim was the young Prithvi Shaw. Shaw described how the star India batter made him run all the way to the ground for no reason.

“It was a game against England and I was in the dressing room. I was with Ash Bhai and Mohammed Shami. And someone got out. I was not playing that match. We don’t hear the ground noise inside the dressing room. We were around the washroom, then Virat Bhai came into the washroom. Virat Bhai stared at me and asked What am I doing here? He asked, do I know that a wicket has fallen? And asked me to go check for the wicket,” said Shaw on the 'Focused Indian' YouTube Channel.

“Now we don't know that lunch break was on because 10 minutes ago we were standing there, so this man made me run all the way to the ground, now I am seeing everyone, no one on the field, and then Virat Bhai said, you don’t know the lunch is on,” he added.
