The Delhi-born batter reached Bengaluru earlier today ahead of the final T20I of the series to be played at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday, January 17. The 35-year-old was spotted practicing at the stadium with the team where he even had a brief chat with the wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant, who’s been going through rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).
Apart from Kohli, legendary India cricketers MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar have been also invited for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple as the nation prepares itself for the homecoming of Ram Lalla (infant Lord Ram). Several other eminent personalities of the country from all walks of life will also mark their presence for the holy event scheduled to take place on January 22 in Ayodhya city of Uttar Pradesh.
PM Narendra Modi to also grace the event
Notably, Pran Pratishtha is a ceremony by which a Hindu Temple consecrates an Idol. During the event, holy hymns and mantras are performed to welcome the almighty in their sanctum abode.
