The entire cricketing community awaited Virat Kohli’s 71st international century and once it came, everyone rejoiced. Amongst the fans, there was one particular fan named Aman Agarwal who loved Kohli’s century the most. Indian fans are known for keeping absurd promises and superstitions related to their favorite cricketers and in one such instance last year, a fan brought a signbaord to the stadium, declaring that he would not get married until Kohli completes his 71st century.

With Kohli having completed his century, Agarwal posted an image of himself in his wedding outfit standing in front a TV. “I asked for the 71st century but he scored 74th on my special day," read the caption. Agarwal shared a collage where on one side he was seen holding the "I Will Not Get Married Till Virat Kohli Scores his 71st" placard while on the other side, there is a picture of him wearing a wedding outfit.

This picture received a lot of love as people replied to the tweet with wholesome comments and admired his dedication for the Indian team and his favorite player. It was truly a special moment for Agarwal as he entered a new phase in his life and saw his ideal score yet another hundred on his big day.

Notably, Kohli scored an undefeated 166 to defeat Sri Lanka in the third One Day International in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. His brilliant knock had 13 fours and eight majestic sixes, as he scored a match-winning hundred, his third ODI century in last four games.

"Ever since I came back from the break, I am feeling good and I don't have desperation to get to a milestone. I want to continue doing that and am content. Today I was happy to be batting out there and in that space I end up playing good cricket. I am in a nice space right now, just be organic," Kohli said after the match.
