Star Indian batter Virat Kohli, is set to continue his illustrious career at least until 2027, according to a recent astrological analysis. Renowned astrologer Greenstone Lobo went into Kohli's horoscope and made an interesting case for the star batter's prolonged success on the field.
Lobo's analysis sees an optimistic picture for Kohli's future, suggesting that the influential planetary positions in his chart will guide him to deliver strong performances, especially during the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.
"One of the best patches of Virat Kohli is yet to come. Does it mean that Kohli is going to beat the record of Sachin Tendulkar? Maybe not. That tally of 49-plus (51) Test centuries is very, very steep. So maybe it would be difficult for him to achieve but then Virat Kohli can definitely go beyond Sunil Gavaskar and even Rahul Dravid,” Lobo said on StarPlay: Cricket & Astrology.
He's not really bothered about the numbers: Greenstone Lobo
While surpassing the great Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 Test centuries may be challenging, Lobo believes Kohli can still surpass the records of other legendary Indian batters like Sunil Gavaskar and Rahul Dravid.
"He's not really bothered about the numbers, he's focused on winning and that is exactly what he's going to do for India," Lobo said, emphasizing Kohli's unwavering commitment to leading his team to victory.
However, Lobo is confident that Kohli's fortunes will turn around, thanks to the favourable positioning of planets like Uranus and Neptune in his horoscope.
"He is going to perform brilliantly well because Uranus, which has gone debilitated in the last few months is going to come back into exaltation exactly on November 15th and it's going to stay there throughout this entire tournament. One important thing I can say (for now) is that Down Under Virat Kohli is definitely going to play some very interesting roles," he added.
The astrologer's last prediction was about the 36-year-old's career longevity. According to Lobo, Kohli is expected to play till 2027, which is two years from now, and includes major competitions, like the T20 World Cup, Champions Trophy, ODI World Cup and the World Test Championship.
"So, for all the Virat Kohli fans out there, let me tell you one thing. Let me assure you one thing. Virat Kohli is going to be there at least till 2027,” he concluded.
