Five games in the Vitality Blast 2024 were scheduled on Thursday, July 11. Four out of the five games yielded results, while one was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

In the North Group, Worcestershire got the better of Leicestershire by 16 runs after Adam Hose slammed a belligerent half-century and Matthew Waite wreaked havoc with a five-for. Meanwhile, Yorkshire pulled off a comprehensive seven-wicket win against Durham after leg-spinner Jafer Chohan put on an impressive show with the ball, finishing with figures of 5/14. The highly-anticipated encounter between Derbyshire and Lancashire was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to rain.

In the South Group, Middlesex defeated Gloucestershire by 29 runs after Jack Davies and Martin Andersson scored fifties and Luke Hollman starred with the ball, bagging a three-for. Meanwhile, in the same group, Essex pulled off a 22-run win against Kent on the back of a solid performance from their frontline batters and bowlers.
