The 10th edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to be played between April 8 and May 19, with some high-profile players like David Warner, Kane Williamson, Alzarri Joseph and Daryl Mitchell set to make their debut in the league.

The PSL 2025 Player Draft took place on January 13, 2025, in Lahore, with all six franchises making their selections. A total of 116 players from 10 countries were chosen. Warner, the dynamic opener was selected by the Karachi Kings as their second pick in the Platinum round. With over 12,000 T20 runs in 392 matches, the southpaw's experience is expected to be a valuable asset to the Kings as they look to lift their second PSL trophy.

On the other hand, Williamson was picked up by Karachi Kings in the supplementary round before going unsold in the Platinum category. The veteran batter is another great addition to the King's roaster for this season. His fellow countryman, Mitchell, was the first pick of the day for the Lahore Qalandars. With 70 T20I appearances to his name, Mitchell's all-round capabilities—batting, bowling, and fielding make him a valuable buy. Furthermore, West Indies pacer Joseph was snapped up by Peshawar Zalmi. Interestingly all four of them went unsold during the IPL 2025 auction.
