With so many leagues and tournaments going around in the world, it's quite easy to forget moments of brilliance from particular matches. However, Sussex's Brad Currie's one-handed stunning catch will surely stand the test of time.
The spectacular catch came in the penultimate over of Friday's T20 Blast encounter involving Hampshire Hawks and Sussex at The Hove. The match was intriguingly poised with Hampshire requiring 23 runs off 11 balls. Benny Howell tried to heave a length ball away to the square leg fence.
The connection was sweet and it seemed destined for a six until Currie emerged out of nowhere and pulled off a spectacular catch. Currie, 24, ran to his left and stuck his left hand out to grab the stunner, with his body parallel to the ground.
The commentators were taken aback as one of them asked if anyone had seen anything like it. Fans were also stunned after seeing the effort.
