South Africa and India continued their ongoing T20I series by facing off in the second T20I. Both sides locked horns at St. George's Park, Gqeberha, on Sunday, November 10. Having won the first T20I, India looked to put in another good showing in the second game.
However, the Proteas had different plans. One of the biggest highlights of the first innings was the dismissal of Tilak Varma. Looking to stabilise the innings for India after the top order collapsed, Tilak Varma fell prey to the brilliance of David Miller in the field.
On the very last ball of the eighth over, Varma hoped to play the ball over at extra cover. However, a one-handed stunner by Miller at extra cover, extending his hand overhead, the athlete managed to catch the ball, which saw Varma depart for a score of 20 runs.

India continue to lose wickets as Proteas mount pressure
Speaking of the game, South Africa continued to mount pressure against India. The clash began with India batting first, and after a brilliant century in the first T20I, Samson failed to continue his good run of form. The star batter scored for a duck, whereas Abhishek Sharma also scored four runs.
Furthermore, skipper Suryakumar Yadav also failed to make an impact as he departed for a score of four runs as well. Tilak Varma scored 20 runs in just as many deliveries. All-rounder Axar Patel looked to be in good touch, but he too fell prey to a runout and departed for 27 runs in 21 deliveries.
By the end of the 14th over of the first innings, the Indian team found themselves on a score of 80 runs and had lost five wickets in the process.
