Team India put in an excellent showing in the second T20I of the ongoing three-game series against Bangladesh. The clash saw both sides face off at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on September 9. The game began with team India coming in to bat first after losing the toss.

It was an innings belonging to the middle order. After openers Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma scored 10 and 15 runs, respectively, Suryakumar Yadav scored eight runs before making the long walk back. However, it was the knocks of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh that stood out for the Men in Blue.

Reddy amassed 74 runs in 34 deliveries, whereas Rinku Singh scored 53 runs to follow it up as well. It was Rinku’s celebration that caught the eye of the fans. The 26-year-old, shortly after completing his half century, pointed to his brand new ‘God’s Plan’ tattoo. The clip of the same has been going viral all over social media.

India post 221 runs in the first innings

Apart from Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya impressed with his knock as well. The star all-rounder came into bat after the dismissal of Nitish Reddy, and scored a quickfire 32 runs in 19 deliveries. Furthermore, Riyan Parag added 15 runs on the board as India posted a total of 221 runs in the first innings of the game.
