13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has taken world cricket by storm. At such a tender age, Vaibhav became the youngest-ever IPL cricketer after Rajasthan Royals roped him in for INR 1.1 crores in the mega auction. The youngster has impressed everyone with his performances in domestic cricket, and he had many eyes on him as he continues to perform exceptionally well for India U19 at the ongoing U19 Asia Cup.
India U19 took on UAE U19 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, December 4, in the 12th game of the tournament. The clash began with the UAE coming into bat, and as Muhammad Rayan and Akshat Rai scored 35 and 26 runs on the board, respectively, UAE U19 posted a total of 137 runs in the first innings.
Aiming to chase down the target, India U19 opened their innings with Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre coming out to bat. Completely mesmerising the spectators, Suryavanshi looked to be in the flow in the second innings.
Opening the innings, the 13-year-old went straight to work as he demolished the opposition’s bowling attack. Playing 46 deliveries, the youngster scored a total of 76* runs, hitting six sixes and three fours throughout his innings.

His performance attracted many eyes towards him, and it is clear that the fans are waiting in anticipation to see the young lad in action in the upcoming season of the IPL in 2025 for Rajasthan Royals. If the 13-year-old is given time in the squad, he could well be one for the future of team India.
It is worth noting that Suryavanshi was accompanied by Ayush Mhatre, who scored 67* runs in 51 deliveries as the openers propelled India to the win, helping the side win the clash by a whopping 10 wickets, registering a comfortable victory.
