The 8th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 is currently underway between Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators at the National Stadium, Karachi. Karachi Kings captain David Warner won the toss and elected to bat first.
Karachi’s openers got off to a flying start, with Tim Seifert scoring a quick 27 off 15 balls and David Warner contributing 31 off 20 deliveries. After the dismissal of Warner, in-form batter James Vince walked in to continue the momentum.
In the 11th over, Vince faced the left-arm orthodox Saud Shakeel. On the third ball of the over, Vince stepped down the track to an in-drifting delivery, converted it into a slot ball, and launched it over long-on for a massive six. The shot came right off the middle of the bat and showcased his excellent form.

Both Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators have won one match and lost one so far in the tournament. With net run rate playing a crucial role early in the league, both teams are looking to secure two more points and climb the points table.
Karachi Kings began their PSL 2025 campaign with a win over Multan Sultans, powered by a sensational century from James Vince, who scored 101 runs, including 14 fours and four sixes. However, they stumbled in their second fixture, suffering a heavy 65-run defeat at the hands of Lahore Qalandars.
Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, started strong with a dominant 80-run win over Peshawar Zalmi but faced a setback in their next outing, losing to Lahore Qalandars by 79 runs.
With both teams coming off losses, today's clash is crucial for regaining momentum and making their position solid in the tournament.
