The 3rd Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Brisbane turned into a game of strategies to dismiss the Australian batters. One of the incidents was Virat Kohli’s advice to Mohammed Siraj and skipper Rohit Sharma which gave the team a great result, as Steve Smith had to depart for four runs on the final day of the third Test.
The Gabba Test ended in a draw due to the rain and now both teams head to Melbourne for the fourth Test. The Indian bowlers used the conditions well and forced Australia to declare at 89 with the loss of 7 wickets. The pace-trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Akash Deep looked in great form as they dismissed Australia's top order in no time.

The Indian team came up with a strategy and it helped the Men in Blue as Australia's Steve Smith fell victim and got dismissed by Mohammed Siraj with a delivery which he attempted to play only managing to edge it down the leg for Rishabh Pant to take a phenomenal catch. However, the magic only happened after the golden strategy of Virat Kohli who suggested to Rohit and Siraj that he should continue to bowl over the wicket and angle the bowl into the middle and leg with a scramble seam. This plan could be heard clearly through the stump mic.
