Sandeep Warrier bowled well for Gujarat Titans against Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024. The right-arm pacer was the key reason behind the early collapse of DC which resulted in GT gaining momentum in the early part of the innings. The emerging pacer claimed the first three wickets of DC and reduced the home side to 44/3. His spell of 3/15 was brilliant and very essential for GT given their failure with the new ball as a unit so far. 

DC was going well in the first three overs of the match. However, the Tamil Nadu pacer dismissed dangerous-looking Jake Fraser McGurk for 23(14) leading to a mini-collapse for DC. Sandeep Warrier is an Indian pacer born on the 4th of April 1991 in Thrissur, Kerala. The right-arm pacer recently turned 33. Back in July 2021, he got a chance to represent India in the series against Sri Lanka. Warrier plays for GT in the ongoing season of IPL and Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket. The right-arm pacer has played enough matches in the domestic circuit with good stats in FC cricket and other forms of the game.

Sandeep registered his name for the IPL auction 2024. Set his name with a base price of INR 50 lakhs, Warrier was picked by GT for the base price. No other team showed their interest in the TN pacer. Even GT themselves took a lot of time to get him in the playing XI. Due to the mediocre show of Umesh Yadav in the season so far, Warrier got an opportunity to play for GT. So far, Sandeep has grabbed his opportunity by both hands with a good performance.
