After the heartbreaking loss against Australia in the final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 by six wickets, the team India will have to quickly regroup as they have a packed schedule ahead in the next three months. Right after the World Cup, the Men in Blue will lock horns with Australia in a five-match T20I series beginning on Thursday, November 23.
The Rohit Sharma-led side will then tour South Africa in December for three T20Is and as many ODIs. They will also take on the Proteas in a two-match Test series. Furthermore, India will begin the new year with a three-match T20I series against Afghanistan followed by a long five-match Test series against England beginning in the last week of January.

The upcoming tours will be full of T20 action as the prime focus of the team will be on the T20 World Cup 2024 scheduled to take place in the US and the West Indies. Apart from that, the Indian test Team will also be willing to gather crucial points on the World Test Championship (WTC) Points Table as they take on South Africa and England in crucial series.
Team India currently finds itself on the second spot on the WTC points table with one win and a draw from two matches having a points percentage of 66.67. They finished as the runner-ups of the previous two editions of the tournament and will be willing to go one step ahead this time around and clinch the coveted mace.

Apart from the packed schedule, the fans are also eagerly waiting for the comeback of Rishabh Pant back into the Indian team, who’s been out of action for almost a year after surviving a horrific car crash on December 2022. Delhi Capitals team director Sourav Ganguly has confirmed that Pant will take part in the IPL 2024 and his international comeback is likely to be in February 2023 during the series against England.
