Mumbai Indians (MI) are about to take on Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 14 of the Indian Premier League 2024 (IPL 2024) on Monday, April 1 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Rajasthan skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first on the good batting surface of Wankhede. There was one change in the RR lineup as Sandeep Sharma had to miss out due to fitness issues and Nandre Burger had to be brought in.
Sharma had a decent outing in the first game of the season against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) registering figures of 1/22 in three overs which included the big wicket of KL Rahul. However, in his second game, he proved to be costly leaking 36 runs in four overs.

In the opening game against LSG, he registered figures of 1/30 in three overs and later picked 2/29 in three overs against Delhi Capitals.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians (MI) didn’t make any changes to their playing XI and fielded the same team as their previous two fixtures. Notably, MI are yet to win a single game this season as they're languishing on the last spot o the points table with 0 wins from two matches.
