The ICC Women's T20 World Cup is set to commence on February 10, with as many as 10 teams ready to lock horns to win the coveted title. South Africa, who successfully hosted the inaugural edition of the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in January, will be playing host to the upcoming gala event.

The 10 teams are divided into two groups of five each. South Africa qualified on the basis of being hosts, while seven teams gained automatic qualification. Further, Bangladesh and Ireland made it through the qualifiers. The first round sees the sides participating in a contest each against the teams in their respective groups, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the knockout stage.
