Following an exchange of words, the police official lost her composure and struck the spectator. In response, the spectator retaliated by striking the police officer, leading to the intervention of bystanders.

In a highly anticipated World Cup encounter, India secured a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan, led by captain Rohit Sharma, who played a pivotal role with 86 runs off 63 balls.
