'I still remember the moment when we lifted that World Cup' - Prithvi Shaw reflects on his first memory of Wankhede Stadium
Shaw recollected his memories created at the Wankhede Stadium on account of the stadium's 50th anniversary celebrations.

The Wankhede Stadium is celebrating its 50th anniversary hosted by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA). It is a celebration of one of the most iconic grounds in international cricket that has given some of the greatest matches in the cricketing world that the fans still remember to this day.
This celebrations will also feature legends of Mumbai cricket at the event which will be held on the 19th of January. One of them is former U-19 World Cup-winning captain and opening batter Prithvi Shaw who shared his first memories of the Wankhede Stadium, talking about the 2011 World Cup final between India and Sri Lanka which he saw along with his friend and former teammate and Mumbai Indians pacer Arjun Tendulkar.
“My first memory that I remember, and it's for the rest of my life, was when I came here to watch the 2011 World Cup. I was 11 that time; me and Arjun Tendulkar, my friend, we both sat here and watched that game live. I still remember the moment when we lifted that World Cup. What an experience. That was my first time,” Shaw said as quoted by Hindustan Times.

“As kids, we always dreamed about playing in Wankhede Stadium. We are now celebrating 50th anniversary of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), and I think everyone should come and join the celebrations. It's for all the Mumbai people. Please come on 19th and have a big celebration,” Shaw added.
The 2011 World Cup final is one of the most memorable moments for Indian cricket fans, where the team went on to win the trophy after 28 years under the leadership of MS Dhoni.
