After losing two matches on the trot in the Women’s Premier League 2024, Royal Challengers Bangalore Women (RCB-W) came out all guns blazing in their fifth fixture against UP Warriorz on Monday, March 4 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. The hosts put on a massive total of 198/3 in their allotted 20 overs with their captain Smriti Mandhana leading from the front with her scintillating knock of 80 (50).
Apart from her, Ellyse Perry also chipped in with a brilliant half-century scoring 58 off 37 balls clobbering four fours and as many sixes in her knock. Not only the UP bowlers, but the sponsor car parked in the stadium was also on the receiving side of Perry’s wrath as the right-handed batter broke its window with one of her maximums.

The Australia all-rounder came down the track and launched the ball for a 76-metre six over the long-on boundary which crashed into the car’s window. The incident left everyone in the stadium awestruck and even Perry gave an adorable reaction as she felt a bit sorry by tapping her head for damaging the car.
