The entire season will feature 22 matches with the table-toppers directly qualifying for the final like last year’s edition. Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians will look to win their second successive title in the upcoming edition having reinforced their squad in the mini-auction. They bought the legendary South African seamer Shabnim Ismail acquiring her services for INR 1.2 Crore. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side also bought all-rounders S. Sajana, Amandeep Kaur, and Keerthana Balakrishnan along with bowler Fatima Jaffer.
The defending champions will once again give nightmares to all the remaining four teams in the upcoming season as they look to register their second consecutive title.
