The second edition of the WPL 2024 is all set to kick off on February 23. The excitement amongst the fans is palpable for the tournament after the success of the inaugural season. Royal Challengers Bangalore Women's team may not have had the best first season but the Smriti Mandhana-led side will look to bounce back in the coming season.

The Bengaluru-based side will lock horns against UP Warriorz Women in their first tournament match on February 24, Saturday. The match will be played at the home ground of the hosts at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru giving them a major advantage. Both sides will be looking to start well in the completion. 

Speaking of the side’s performance in the previous season, RCB-W finished in fourth place in the tournament standings with 4 points in eight games, losing six matches. The side won only two games in the tournament and was inconsistent throughout.
