Yash Dayal faces fans’ wrath after controversial Instagram story about MS Dhoni
Yash Dayal posted a clip of dismissing MS Dhoni in the IPL 2024.
Young India pacer Yash Dayal has been criticized by fans online for his recent Instagram story involving former India skipper MS Dhoni. It is worth noting that Yash Dayal has been retained by Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of the new season of the IPL in 2025.
Yash Dayal was on cloud nine in the IPL 2024 after he bowled a crucial over to Chennai Super Kings’ MS Dhoni, playing a big role in eliminating the side from the tournament. Dayal was handed the job of defending 17 runs in an over with Ravindra Jadeja and MS Dhoni on the crease.
On the first ball of the over, Dhoni hit Dayal for a six. However, the 26-year-old made a comeback and dismissed MS Dhoni in the over, helping RCB win the clash.
Sharing a clip on his Instagram story, Yash Dayal shared the clip of dismissing Dhoni, and a part of the video also contained former India pacer Zaheer Khan also similarly dismissing Dhoni. However, the clip attracted some negative traction towards Dayal as the fans were quite miffed with him for sharing the clip.

RCB look to clinch maiden IPL title
Royal Challengers Bengaluru was quite active in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Coming into the event with just three retentions in Virat Kohli, Rajat Patidar, and Yash Dayal, the franchise had a sizable purse available to them, and they roped in several big names in the mega auction as well.
The likes of Phil Salt, Liam Livingstone, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and many more stars have been roped in by RCB ahead of the new season of the IPL. The last season of the tournament was a roller coaster ride for RCB; the side got off to a horrid start to their campaign, losing their first seven matches.
However, they managed to make a comeback won their next seven games and qualified for the playoffs but failed to go all the way. The side will hope that with a revamped squad in 2025, RCB will look to go all the way and win their maiden IPL title.
