Ireland will be visiting Zimbabwe for a limited-overs series comprising three T20Is and as many One Day Internationals between January 12 to 23. This will be a great opportunity for both sides to prove their mettle with a long -term view on the next year’s 50-overs World Cup (for Ireland) as well as the T20 World Cup 2024.

Both teams will be oozing with confidence heading into this bilateral series having showcased impressive performances in this year’s T20 World Cup Down Under. Ireland and Zimbabwe both succeeded in getting past the group stages to earn a well-deserved spot in Super 12.

These two teams might not have made it to the semis, but they did turn out to be party spoilers to an extent.
