LLC 2024 to be played in India and Qatar

Exciting news for cricket fans in India. Legends League Cricket has announced its next season today, which will be played in India and Qatar from 11th September to October 5th, 2024. The cricket fever in India is going to be on a high this festival season. With no other big-ticket Cricket event scheduled during that window, the forthcoming season of Legends League Cricket’s Franchise season would certainly add to the flavour with top legends of the sport descending into India and Qatar.

After a super successful season 2 that ended in December 2023, the return of Legends League Cricket in India with an expanded line-up of matches across 2 countries is expected to generate a lot of enthusiasm. Previously, the league garnered a viewership of 180 million across India for the previous season of 19 matches and is expected to grow further.

During the last season in India, some of the top players who quit international cricket like Suresh Raina, Aaron Finch, Martin Guptill, Gautam Gambhir, Chris Gayle, Hashim Amla, and Ross Taylor to name a few, played for the season as well apart from 110 other legend cricketers. 

Manipal Tigers under Harbhajan Singh had won the 2nd Franchise season played in December 2023.As per sources, the retention policy of the teams would be announced soon along with the new Player Draft Pool.

Raman Raheja, Co-founder and CEO, Legends League Cricket said “Expansion from 4 teams to 6 teams last year helped the league become more competitive and fun. This time there would be 34 matches and the league will add more players in this season.” 

“The sector has grown significantly eversinceour League was launched in 2022 but we have are setting global benchmarks in Legends space and shall leave no stone unturned to make the next season bigger and better.” he added.
